Staff Mobility

Staff mobility is an excellent way of strengthening the ties between KEA and partner institutions. It can help staff members broaden their horizons, expand their professional networks, share best practices, improve their language skills and experience a new culture.

KEA sends and receives both academic and administrative staff members.

Academic staff members may, in addition to teaching:

  • Shadow a lecturer from within their field
  • Help run a workshop
  • Give guest lectures
  • Participate in a research/development project
  • A combination of the above.

Administrative staff members may find that job shadowing is an ideal way to learn how colleagues at another institution tackle the challenges they face in a job similar to their own and to share their experiences and ideas with them.

Incoming Staff exchange

If you wish to participate in staff mobility at KEA, the first step is to contact the international office at your home institution to ensure that you are eligible to apply for staff mobility and funding (for example, through Erasmus+).

The next step is to contact the appropriate International Coordinator at KEA. Their contact information is available here.

The International Coordinator can help you plan your stay, including connecting you with a contact person in the appropriate department, processing the paperwork and answering practical questions.
