All papers and assignments handed in via Wiseflow is checked for plagiarism, ie. use of other authors text without proper reference. KEA has experienced a slight increase in the number of cases involving plagiarism, and therefore KEA now increases sanction for handing in papers, where substantial parts of the paper is plagiarized, and the plagiarism has had potential to affect the grade. KEA also distinguishes between exams during the education and the final exam.

The sanction for handing in such plagiarized reports during an education will be expulsion from the exam, expulsion from KEA for one week and a warning, that repeating the offense will result in termination of the enrollment at KEA.

The sanction for handing in such plagiarized reports in connection with the final exam or bachelor exam will be expulsion from the exam, expulsion from KEA for the remainder of the month plus 1 month, stoppage of the study grant (SU) for that last month due to lack of study activity, and a warning that repeating the offense will result in termination of the enrollment at KEA.
