The programme is a mix of lectures, individual practice and on project work in teams of 2-4 students. Your team will often develop projects in close cooperation with organisations. During the development projects, you will learn to cooperate with others, manage the process and communicate your knowledge. The study is based on dialogue, and your lecturers are your sparring partners. Each student on 1 semester is assigned a teacher as a tutor.
You are expected to ask questions and discuss technical and professional topics with your fellow students and lecturers. The lecturers have all an academic degree and almost all of them in IT. Most of them have worked professionally with system development in private and public companies for many years.
PROJECTS DURING YOUR STUDY
You will be involved in many projects during the time of your study, since every semester have modules that usually end up with a project or an individual assignment. These projects are multi-disciplinary, and as such their preparation involves all the disciplines. The students plan and manage their projects themselves but are supported by the ordinary theory tuition which runs alongside the project work and is as far as possible directly related to the project. Researching information e.g. using the reading room and the Internet are also important components of the project work. Our students are very independent and therefore are the projects creative and very different, where all aspect of the study’s subjects is involved.
