Career opportunities

Bachelors of Architectural Technology and Construction Management enter a wide range of careers within the construction industry.

Our graduates take up employment above all in building and civil engineering projects but others work in organisations connected with the building and civil engineering industry, e.g. government and local authorities, housing associations and property management companies, banks and building societies/mortgage banks, and in institutes of technology. You can find current job offers from the following link:

Graduates work for consulting architects and engineers, planning construction projects from proposal to finished design, including:

• planning the construction and technical installations in buildings
• drawing up cost estimates, time and work schedules
• preparing and processing procurements and invitations to tender
• managing and coordinating contractors' works on site
• supervising quality, costs and time
• planning and controlling performance of the design process in the studio

Graduates' work for contractors include:

• drawing up tenders for building and civil engineering projects
• planning and managing works on the building site
• supervising quality, costs and time

Graduates' work for building materials manufacturers include:

• designing building components
• drawing up tenders for production and delivery
• planning production in the workshop, factory and on building sites
