Paper for the conference A.T. + the Sustainability challenge, London, December 4th and 5th 2008
This paper tells about where AT derives from and explains the relationship to architecture. It also describes the present situation and suggests a reasoned definition of the term AT. Furthermore, it uncovers missing and less good covered areas within the profession of architecture and planning and suggests educational solutions to fill the gaps.
The data collection behind the descriptions and conclusions is based on a literature study and an initial pilot investigation as parts of a PhD-project in cooperation with Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and the Copenhagen Technical Academy
