Internship has been an integrated part of the Design Technologist programme for 8 years. From 2009/2010 3 months of unpaid internship is a mandatory part of the education.

Most students do internship in Denmark but an increasing number choose internship companies in the United States, UK, Germany, India, China or other countries around the world.

KEA design/business has build up a database of 260 internship companies.
