The site was created by two Icelandic students (as you might guess!) and has two main parts - one for parents and one for children. The project was done in conjunction with the Icelandic ministry of public health (I think that is the correct name!) and was designed to encourage children/teach children about the importance of brushing their teeth. They created 2 games - one involving the goody toothbrush firing toothpaste at the evil sweety monster - I particularly liked! There was also a simple cartoon strip about the characters in the game and the town they lived in and a 3D tour of a dentist's surgery.
It was good on different levels - the report was very well written and researched; the games were simple yet effective (one of the daughter's of a friend of mine in Iceland, in the target group, keeps asking when she can play it again...), the cartoon well drawn and the 3D 'room' worked really well. What both the censor and I particularly liked was the humour, the detailing of the inspiration with fantastic explanation of the characters and their meaning, the art work, and the reflective nature of the project, where they really considered the process, design and testing in detail. It also looks nice and appealed to the target in their testing.
