SUMMER INTAKE

AP Degrees (2-2½ years) and BA degrees (3½ years) - www.optagelse.dk 

KEA and the other institutions of higher education in Denmark belong to a joint application system called the Coordinated Enrolment System (KOT). You can apply for up to eight different programmes (AP degrees and full BA degrees). KOT makes sure that you are only admitted to one of the degree programmes you apply for and to the highest priority possible.

 

Deadline for applying:

  • All applicants with foreign diplomas (non-EU/EU/EEA) - 15th of March
  • Quota 2 applicants - 15th of March
  • Danish applicants with a Danish High-school (Quota 1) - 5th of July

 

You must print out, sign and submit the Signature Page to applicant@kea.dk before 15th of March, at 12 noon. Your application process is not completed until the Signature Page is received at the Admission Office. Please check this guide from KOT for more information (page 45).

 

WINTER INTAKE - APPLY VIA www.kea.dk

During the winter intake, you have to apply directly via KEA's APPLICATION FORM.

Deadline for applying:

  • non-EU/EEA/Nordic - 15th of October, at 12.00 noon
  • EU/EEA/Nordic - 1st of December, at 12.00 noon 

 

TUITION FEES

Please note that applicants from outside the EU/EEA/Nordic countries will have to pay tuition fee. Please find more information under "Facts", on the specific programme's page.

 

What should I upload with my application?

 

EU/EEA APPLICANTS

  • Your diploma (a copy) in the original language.
  • Your diploma (a copy) translated into English. You can translate it yourself and have it verified by your school or use a certified translation company.
  • If you do not have a diploma and/or your final examinations at the time of applying, you must submit a school transcript (grade sheet) translated into English and verified by your school or use a certified translation company.
  • Proof of English proficiency - check here for more details
  • Proof of Mathematics level - The requirements differ from programme to programme, please check the "Admission" page under the specific programme. Please use this verification form in order to prove your level. Applicants from Scandinavia are not required to enclose a verification form.
  • Grade sheets from the last three years of upper secondary school
  • A copy of your passport.
  • Residence permit if you are already living in Denmark

 

non-EU/EEA Applicants

Please check the Country specific requirements before applying, as the requirements for entry to Danish higher education differ from country to country. We strongly recommend you to get an assesment of foreign qualifications, from UFM (The Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science). For more information, please check this link.

  • Residence permit if you are already staying in Denmark

 

Only complete applications containing all required documents mentioned above will be taken into consideration.

 

SUMMER INTAKE

  • EU/EEA/Nordic: If you have not received your final diploma by the application deadline, it will be possible to upload enclosures to www.optagelse.dk until 5 July, 12 noon. If you have not graduated by the 5th of July, you can send the graduation diploma and/or final exams directly to applicant@kea.dk. The deadline is the study start date.
  • non-EU/EEA/Nordic: You have to submit all documents together with your application and no later than the 15th of March, at 12.00 noon.

WINTER INTAKE

All documents have to be uploaded with the application or sent no later than the application deadline, for all applicants.
